Story of Bhagawan Sanjay Sai Baba 's advent in this world:

Shri Jai Brikhnath Kapali was a great devotee of Lord Nataraj. Once in a meditative sleep he got the most divine darsans of Shiva Shankara who pleased with his devotion granted him a wonderful boon.He promised him that the Lord himself will take birth in his lineage i.e.Kushal vansh. Many great sages and saints also foretold the birth of Divine One in the Kushal clan.

Shri Jawaharlal, a grandfather of Bhagawan Baba, a devout soul compose bhajans and sing them, serve needy and poor, guided his family in the path of spirituality and established a school for the local children besides translating the epic Ramayana in the local Newari language. His elder son; Santosh kumar was married to the most docile and pious Maiya Devi in 12th March, 1979. Maiya Devi was absolutely devoted to Lord Vishnu and would never miss her vrath of SatyaNarayana.

Once, nearby their house in Krishna Mandir, SatyaNarayan story and puja was being performed. The sanctified Prasad was offered to mata Maiya Devi. On partaking of the prasad , she started experiencing divine experiences. That very night Lord SatyaNarayana himself appeared in her dream and granted her boons in that vision that he would soon come to dwell in her sacred womb. Thus Lord was born from His own will with Pravesha(enter at will) and not Prasava(conception).

After this significant dream wondrous events started to occur in the house. Suddenly from nowhere the house would be filled with an aroma of serene essence. The fragrance was heavenly. At night the lamp in the family alter would light up on its own. Musical instruments would start to play on their own accord. Sometimes the sounds of sacred mantras and holy chants filled the air. The entire family was in awe and surprise at the turn of events. On the most auspicious day of 19th Jan. 1989 in the divine propitious muhurat was born on this earth our beloved Baba in a small house in place named Killagal, Kathmandu.
